These days I'm trying to draw a scene from the current state of the Star Wars RPG campaign I'm playing online. The mission involves destroying a huge kyber crystal that the Empire is trying to extract from an occupied planet, so that they can't use it for nefarious purposes *cough*Death Star*cough*. However, since I'm the pilot, I've been waiting until other members of the team infiltrate the tower and open the gates of the vertical shaft so I can do my part. The process has been painfully slow when playing via forum, so when they finally opened them and I could turn the engine on, I got excited and inspired to draw it.

The problem is, this was supposed to be a quick doodle! And I'm now finding myself trying to draw all the details of the jungle and the mountains. My original goal was to start drawing more things because I tend to produce very few drawings with a lot of perfectionism, and I think I need to draw more things and less elaborate pieces so I get more practice. But I hadn't drawn a jungle or a cliff in detail before, so I guess this counts as practice too… Ah well.

If I finish it this week, I'll try to scan the result properly over the weekend
